The Payment Drop Box WDB-110/WDB-110E Wall Mount has a tubular-style key lock with a double “D” configuration that can be retrofitted with other cam locks and has a piano hinge. The slot opening is wide enough (8.88”) to accept legal-sized paper. This is the perfect way to lock and secure suggestions, ballots, keys, mail, money, rent checks, and more.

This is the second Protex box I've owned. They hold up well to the elements and are quite heavy duty and secure.

I wasn't expecting this to be so well made. Made from a heavy gauge steel, it feels very substantial, and has some weight to it. 4 heavy duty lag bolts are provided for installation. For security, inside the box, just under the slot, is a serrated (but not sharp) flap that makes fishing out mail through the slot difficult. The door swings from left to right, and this cannot be changed. This is very well made and worth the money.

This box is a little pricey but worth the extra money if you are needing a wall mounted box that is secure. Inside the box, there are four pre-drilled holes. What I liked best is that the mounting holes are pretty big, about the size of a nickel or so. This allowed me to use much bigger screws to mount it, thus making it nearly impossible to remove from the wall. I had to use washers with the screws to make it work, but I feel very confident that the materials placed in the box by my employees will be secure and confidential.

This is an exceptionally well built box. We bought it mostly to have a place to store rent until we take it to the bank. It does that and should be very secure because it is made of very heavy steel. It includes what looks to be high quality lag bolt for wood and anchor bolts for concrete. Installation was easy and reassuringly solid. The opening is made for envelopes and works well, though #10 envelopes are just a bit to wide to go in width wise. There is plenty of room in the drop box to store a whole lot of rent checks. Only a determined thief will be getting them out. The small opening makes fishing things out a lengthy and difficult process. The lag bolts and sturdy steel making ripping it out a very arduous and noisy endeavor. I can't say this is just what we needed as it is substantial overkill, but that is just fine.
